RADIANT VOICES

Matt, LPN
Farmington Square Eugene
“I worked in the Skilled Nursing, post-acute setting for a while as a Skilled Manager. I wanted something a little more homey, something a little more resident-focused, so I started looking at jobs at a community. I settled upon Farmington, although, I am sure that Jill [the Executive Director] thought it was weird that I called to interview them first. I had a tour to see what I thought of the place, to see if it was a good fit for myself and for them as well. After meeting with them four or five times, I decided to officially apply and go for the job.”

Olivia, Med-Aide
Farmington Square Eugene
“I’m a mom and I knew I’d be good at it [working in senior living]. I wanted to be in the medical field and I figure this would be something I’d be really good at.”

Trevor, Activities Coordinator & Driver
Pioneer Village
“It was an unexpected surprise working here. Coming in I thought it was going to be just another job. But, I’ve really grown fond of the residents. It’s really become something special.”

Talhanda, Resident Care Manager
New Dawn Aurora
“I started off taking care of my [great] grandmother at home. My great-grandmother was a diabetic so at age 12 I was taking care of her in her home. She passed away at home, and before her passing she told me that was what God had set me out to do, and that’s what I’ve been doing ever since.”
